Tax Awards

Having been short listed in 2002 and 2003 we won the award for Best Tax Team in a Small Firm in the 2004 Lexis Nexis UK Tax Awards. The award was presented by Clive Anderson at the Park Lane Hilton in London on 25 May 2004 in front of an audience of over 600 tax professionals.

The judges said of our entry “A strong contender in previous years, A C Mole & sons Tax Team has shown it can be a leader in terms of innovation. Having helped the Inland Revenue to test its electronic filing process, the firm has gone on to keep up that high standard of innovation by being very involved in a range of new electronic developments. The firm showed a commitment to understanding its clients and has enhanced its technical range to meet new challenges. “

We were delighted to win the award and since winning it we have worked hard to enhance still further the technical range covered by our tax department.

Tax partner Paul Aplin was named Tax Personality of the Year in the 2007 awards for the part he played in persuading the government to reverse its decision to shorten the tax return filing deadlines.
